Delete your Rankd account
You own your data. Deleting your account permanently removes your rankings, friends, ranked lists, comparisons, device registrations, and Pro subscription state from our servers. The operation is not recoverable.
From the app
- Open Rankd on iOS, Android, or the web.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Scroll to Settings, then tap Delete Account (red).
- Confirm the prompt. Deletion runs immediately.

If you’re signed in on this browser, head to your profile and tap Delete Account there — the same flow as above.
Email us
If you can’t access the app or need help with deletion, email support@therankd.com from the address tied to your Rankd account. We’ll confirm your identity and delete within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Account email, display name, username, avatar.
- Every ranking + head-to-head comparison you’ve logged (movies, TV, and books).
- Friendships (both sent + received) and pending requests.
- Device tokens used for push notifications.
- Referral rows you sent or received.
- Trakt + Apple/Google subscription linkages (the underlying Apple/Google subscription itself must be cancelled from the store).
Aggregate community rankings are recalculated to exclude your historical ranking weights. Payment records retained by Stripe for tax + chargeback compliance are handled directly by Stripe under their own retention policy.
